“Radically Human” analyses the contemporary trends of switching away from the cold machine-like processes to a more human technology. The cutting edge technologies are mirroring better and better the human processes – from mundane decisions to the way we feel and touch the interactions with the businesses coming towards us. Human behaviors and intelligence are shaping the structure of the new technologies, from industrial or commercial machines to pieces of software interacting with consumers.
Accelerated by the pandemic, the new technologies are now mirroring more and more the human processes. To quote the press release:
“Artificial intelligence is becoming less artificial and more intelligent. Instead of data-hungry approaches to AI, innovators are pursuing data-efficient approaches that enable machines to learn as humans do. Instead of replacing workers with machines, they are unleashing human expertise to create human-centered AI.”
Take for example the Cloud technologies – the latest trend is to shift beyond databases to billions of connected micro-sensing machines, who scan and adapt to the environment in an-ever faster manner. Powered by powerful AI learning software, these arrays are not only incredibly powerful, but also closer to the way our brain operates. By connecting a large quantity of neurons (i.e. individual sensors) that cooperate, the modern IOT networks are fully deployed with incredible agile properties. And of course, with almost invisible (but fully functional) results.
By using IDEAS (Intelligence, Data, Experience, Architecture, and Strategy), leading businesses are learning from the modern IT environment and adapting to deploy ever better customer interactions. They are also gradually replacing low value-added human work with a more intelligent environment, leaving the human operators do what they do best – adapt and coach the ever-growing arrays of business networks. Whilst the customer interface looks slightly different, the backs of the products are radically reengineered, leaving operations in a much more agile state of the art.
The inroads made by the new technologies are not only visible in the leading organizations’ operations, but also in the new processes’ offerings. The question is – how ready are you to start the transformation towards becoming more human?
